any good domain registrars?

Postby flaremaster » Mon Aug 10, 2009 3:18 am

I plan to obtain a domain for about 2 years.
I'd consider Liway Domains, but I don't know how reliable it will be, has anyone actually used it?

It has more value to me than, but I don't have any customer testimonials of it.

I used to have a domain with DynaDot, it's pretty good. Our services are very similar in terms of features.

Liway domains is quite reliable, our parent company is Directi, which is one of the largest holders of domain names in the world (so it's extremely unlikely it goes bankrupt or anything).

Anyway, just ask Phil - he has a couple domains registered 10 years ahead with us
I have about 10 for 1-2 years.

I have no experience with Liway domains, so no comment.

If you are willing to spend some extra cash, go with Namecheap. Their control panel interface is really one of the better ones out that.

However, if you are a stingy guy (or girl), like me, go with Godaddy. They have lots of promotions and stuff (coupon codes), but their customer service can be... kinda yucky, and so is their "intuitive" interface.

I have one in godaddy and one in dreamhost. They're both reliable and I love being with them and to the fact that godaddy is the only domain registrar who accepts jcb credit cards haha :P
