Email sent by liway

Postby Kemipso » Sun Aug 02, 2009 4:44 pm

This is a small detail, but mail sent by liway are showed as "Unknown sender" (erh, I'm French so its shown in French, but that's the idea).

Might be good to change that to Liway or something ? ;-)

I confirm this. My registration e-mail came from (Unknown Sender)

That's very interesting, mine came from "Liway Forums" :P

I will look into this issue later on today when I get back from uni. I think that if I bind a forums email address to the outgoing mail it should fix it.
Any chance you fellows could provide a screenshot of the email headers? (Or just text paste, I don't mind)?

Thanks!

Sorry, I would have replied to this sooner, but I forgot about it :D. Anyway here are the headers. For my own benefit, I replaced my email address with ME. I don't need the spammers to find my email address and send me more spam :D

I don't see the problem? o-O

Can you take a screenshot of your email client (be it an application or web based), where it says "Unknown Sender".

I use gmail. The blue square comes from a screen shot of the message open. Where the blue square is, there should be a name of the sender. The green is the welcome email I got from registering. The red is the e-mail that was sent out about the new forums.
